Tumblrs

Tumblr-logoIn the past few days, I’ve seen so many great tennis tumblrs that I thought about making a post about them. To those who don’t know, a tumblr is a blogging platform much like Blogger or WordPress, only, well, prettier. They’re used most of the time to post pictures but you can also add music, text, quotes, etc.  The biggest advantage on it is you can “reblogg” stuff on it like you can “retweet” on Twitter. The bad side is it’s not well-known as bigger blogging plataforms and it doesn’t have many tools for “serious” blogging like stats or polls.

Here you can see the links of some cool tennis tumblrs. You can follow them there if you have a tumblr account or you can just use the RSS to follow on your feed reader.

If anyone wants to add any link, just comment with it, I’ll put it up.

Fierce Tennis, you say?

Question: What is this awesome piece of the interwebs?

Answer: I have tried and failed several times to keep blogs up. Why? Because I don’t like doing serious journalism unless there’s money showing up in my bank account — and there wasn’t. This blog will have no interest in being impartial or, you know, actually talking about the sport (ok, maybe from time to time). There are tons of other blogs (and news websites) that do this job pretty well already. Here we will discuss the shallow part: the outfits, the gossip, the outrages and who Fernando Verdasco is currently dating.
