First, I apologize for not posting these past few days. I’ve caught a flu so I’ve been spending my lovely afternoons in bed watching Criminal Minds and drinking tea. But I’m better now so, hai, u guise. :DDDD
The YEC groups came out out and they are:
MAROON GROUP (aka the “death” group):

- Serena Williams
- Venus Williams
- Svetlana Kuznetsova
WHITE GROUP (aka “baby!GOATs, #1 and, oh right, JJ qualified” group)
- Victoria Azarenka
- Caroline Wozniacki
- Jelena Jankovic
- Dinara Safina

Anyway, god I hope Elena doesn’t get creamed in the death group! Poor girl! Sveta’s sure to put up a fight against the Williams’ though…
And, in the white group, I hope Caro can hang in there. I really want to see some JJ/Vika and JJ/Dina going down, though! Sure to be some LOLZ!
Answer: I have tried and failed several times to keep blogs up. Why? Because I don’t like doing serious journalism unless there’s money showing up in my bank account — and there wasn’t. This blog will have no interest in being impartial or, you know, actually talking about the sport (ok, maybe from time to time). There are tons of other blogs (and news websites) that do this job pretty well already. Here we will discuss the shallow part: the outfits, the gossip, the outrages and who Fernando Verdasco is currently dating.
Ha! The maroon group is indeed the death one in many respects, the worst being “the death of Lena’s season”. Excited though. If she brang it against Venus, she should win (on paper, but V has a way of lifting her game/intimidating the decent tennis out of Lena, so who knows…hoping it’s not a 60, 61 scoreline).
