Let me tell you a story, reader. Meet my stuffed kangaroo.
I bought this stuffed kangaroo in London (that huge Hamleys in Oxford Street) when I was hardly 15. I’ve always loved stuffed animals, I had over 50, but when I was about 13, they all had to be given away because I’m overly allergic to, well, anything. Still, I bought this one. And it’s still kept in a high bookshelf in my room.
You see, I’m the kind of (crazy) person that names all of her favourite things. I wasn’t going to miss the opportunity to name a cute (fake) animal. Let me just say, naming the stuffed kangaroo was a very easy task. I named the mother and its daughter after my two favourite Australian players at the time: Alicia and Sam.
Moral of the story: Sometimes this sport makes me happy. Even if it’s rare. And even if it takes a while.
(I might make a real post on the Serena-Sam match. If I’m still not all ahsjddd.’d;fkd.fld;fkfSAMMY)
Answer: I have tried and failed several times to keep blogs up. Why? Because I don’t like doing serious journalism unless there’s money showing up in my bank account — and there wasn’t. This blog will have no interest in being impartial or, you know, actually talking about the sport (ok, maybe from time to time). There are tons of other blogs (and news websites) that do this job pretty well already. Here we will discuss the shallow part: the outfits, the gossip, the outrages and who Fernando Verdasco is currently dating.
