Lacoste fashion post

First, let’s discuss the tennis outfits.

My favourite one of the three is pretty French boy Chardy‘s. Not only because he is pretty and I love yellow but because I think just a tiny bit colour on a black-and-white design always looks good. And the black collar? V. sexy and elegant. Andy‘s shirts are not so bad either. I love the black one — looks very good with the green and white details. But the white shirt reminds me too much of this polo Chardy wore a few years ago in Roland Garros. So I’m sort of “meh” about that one. Couldn’t Lacoste have it done in a different colour? A very soft yellow maybe? It would look cool. Better than boring white.

Now, onto the very original stuff. Brazilian designers Fernando and Humberto Campana have designed a line for Lacoste called “CAMPANAS+LACOSTE”. They’ve come up with both amazing and scary stuff. Odd combination, I know.

I love the first one. I love when Lacoste changes their logo. Like when they did that special anniversay edition where the alligator was silver. So pretty. But the second one? I could never ever wear that. I would constantly feel like I’d have bugs or mini-alligators crawling on me. Do not want.

Fierce Tennis, you say?

Question: What is this awesome piece of the interwebs?

Answer: I have tried and failed several times to keep blogs up. Why? Because I don’t like doing serious journalism unless there’s money showing up in my bank account — and there wasn’t. This blog will have no interest in being impartial or, you know, actually talking about the sport (ok, maybe from time to time). There are tons of other blogs (and news websites) that do this job pretty well already. Here we will discuss the shallow part: the outfits, the gossip, the outrages and who Fernando Verdasco is currently dating.
