First, I apologize for not posting much these days (and I don’t even have a decent excuse), so, here, have some puppy with tennis ball to make it all better:
Adorable, right? Ok. Now that you’re back to liking me, I bring you THE NEWS (aka stuff that I care about):
- New pictures of Caro‘s photoshoot of the Stella McCartney line released. I want that skirt and her stomach.
- Stanford draw is out. First round matches: Domi-Stosur, Hantuchova-Wozniak, Kiri-Chaky and Sorana-Aga (“!!!!!!!!!!!!” to the last two).
- Pictures of Sharapova on the WTT from thedoublebagel. She was wearing a headband and proving my fashion predictions are obvs always right.
Yeah. I think that’s it.

Regarding this post, Fierce Tennis reader, Daniel Faraday said he (or she — Daniel might be a weird 17-year-old girl from Chicago that uses a guy’s name online) would like to see more of Marin Cilic, Roger Federer and baby animals. I picked the two that were relevant to tennis and made a post.

Answer: I have tried and failed several times to keep blogs up. Why? Because I don’t like doing serious journalism unless there’s money showing up in my bank account — and there wasn’t. This blog will have no interest in being impartial or, you know, actually talking about the sport (ok, maybe from time to time). There are tons of other blogs (and news websites) that do this job pretty well already. Here we will discuss the shallow part: the outfits, the gossip, the outrages and who Fernando Verdasco is currently dating.
